The Chicago Bears could kick the tires on yet another wide receiver released.

As mentioned before, the Chicago Bears need help at wide receiver. It is one of the biggest needs on the team right now as they are trying to get Justin Fields developed into a star. It is going to take time but it would be much easier if he had good targets to throw to.

They have Darnell Mooney in the mix which is both nice and lucky considering the fact that he was a late-round pick. Adding someone like Tyler Johnson would really help both Mooney and Fields as he would provide another steady target out there.

Johnson was a fifth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2020 NFL Draft. He isn’t a superstar by any means and the depth that Tampa Bay makes it anything but a shock that he was cut this year. However, that doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t be useful to the Bears.

This is a player that is a Super Bowl Champion which means that he would bring some incredible experience to this Chicago Bears team. He also was in a huddle with the greatest football player to ever walk the earth, Tom Brady.

You can’t put into words or stats what that type of past can do for a player moving forward.  He would be a tremendous addition to the Chicago Bears organization right now for all of those reasons.

It might be hard to convince anyone to come to this team in 2022 because of their slim chances to win a lot this year but they would all make great additions for a variety of reasons.
