The Chicago Bears could certainly use some help with their defense right now.

The Chicago Bears’ defense has been one of the only good parts about their team over the last 50 years or so. In the year 2022, that shouldn’t be the best thing about your team anymore as it is an offensive league but it is still important.

Even under Matt Nagy, an offensive coach, the Bears were great at stopping their opponent from scoring. The only problem is that they didn’t score at all themselves either so they were an incredibly average team.

Well, now that they have a defensive-minded coach and plan to use their offensive coordinator the right way, things might be able to turn for them.

Guys like Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks are gone so they won’t be as good as they once were but they have to keep working to get back to a good level. Adding some help in all areas is a good way to leave no stone unturned.

The Philadelphia Eagles cut safety, Anthony Harris, on Tuesday which was one of the more surprising moves of the day. To replace him, they acquire Chauncey Gardner Johnson from the New Orleans Saints to be thier new safety.

Harris was probably going to start for them and could come help the Chicago Bears instead. It is certainly a pick-up to consider.
