Blackhawks: 3 teams most likely to trade for Patrick Kane

The Chicago Blackhawks are trying thier best to be the worst team in the league so that they can rebuild their roster the right way.

That is the best way to get back to being a Stanley Cup contender right now and they are well on their way to doing that.

Every move that they have made so far this season suggests that they are rebuilding with the intention f being as bad as possible.

If they were to trade Patrick Kane right now, that would make them even worse on the ice and give them so much for the future.

The Chicago Blackhawks are considering a big trade of Patrick Kane right now.

There are a few teams more likely to make a bold move for a deal like that. These are the three teams most likely to acquire Patrick Kane:

1. Edmonton Oilers

If the Edmonton Oilers made a big trade like this, the hockey world would go crazy. Seeing Patrick Kane on the same team as Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl would make for the most entertaining hockey in the league.

Edmonton is an electric offensive team so Kane would fit right in. They are three of the 20 best offensive players in the league and would just make magic together.

If Edmonton is truly looking to win the Cup with McDavid, this is the move. Chicago has already traded one of their legends (Duncan Keith) to the Oilers and now is the perfect time to do it again.

2. Buffalo Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres make so much sense for Patrick Kane. They are a team on the rise and haven’t made the playoffs in a very long time. If Kane were to go there, he would have a solid chance of resigning for a few different reasons.

For one, as mentioned before, they are looking like an organization that could become very good soon. Adding someone like Kane would help. He is also from Buffalo which would make this a grand return at the perfect time.

3. Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs need to make a move. They keep running it back with the same core that keeps losing in the first round. They are all magnificent players but a shake-up is needed. A trade involving these two teams and Patrick Kane would probably be more of a blockbuster type.

The Leafs have salary cap issues but moving one of their stars in place of Patrick Kane could be the shake-up that they need as an organization. This could be worked out which could get them under the cap with Kane.
