Can Jack Sanborn, Trestan Ebner, and Dominique Robinson continue to build off their really good preseason debuts?

Sanborn showed he is worthy of a roster spot against the Chiefs. The undrafted free-agent linebacker out of Wisconsin had seven tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery. He flashed on special teams as well.

If he keeps playing like this, it will be hard to keep him off the 53-man roster. The only thing is he did most of his damage against third-stringers. He appears to have moved up on the depth chart.

It will be worth watching to see if he can put together another good outing against a better talent level. The Bears sure could use his special team skills. It would be a bonus if he can show that he can be a possible contributor at the little-used strong-side linebacker spot.

Trestan Ebner had some nice runs and a touchdown catch in his preseason debut. He also had a 35-yard kickoff return to start the game against the Chiefs. He is still battling to be the third running back. Ebner needs to show he can help in pass protection and put together another solid showing to lock a spot on spot on the roster.

Dominque Robinson went from being a quarterback to wide receiver to defensive end in college. The Bears drafted him in the fifth round based solely on his potential. He registered a sack against the Chiefs and is having a good camp. It would be nice to see him have another good showing to know he can help the pass rush this season.
