Teven Jenkins playing at right guard.
Jenkins missed seven-straight practices with an undisclosed injury in the early goings of training camp. There were also rumors he might not make the team and he was on the trade block.
Jenkins returned to practice and got a good amount of playing time against the Chiefs. He did not play great against the second-string but finished strong against Kansas City’s third-string.
After veteran Michael Schofield struggled against the Chiefs’ first-string defense, Jenkins might still have a shot at a starting job. The Chicago Bears moved Jenkins to right guard during this week’s practices and the coaching staff liked what they saw.

Jenkins, who was drafted last season in the second round to play left tackle, started two games at right guard in college. He is a mauler along with good size for the right side. Moving inside might be the best use of his skills at the NFL level.
Jenkins will be the only starter on offense to play more than ten snaps as he requires reps since it has been a while since he has played inside. Also, he is still working himself back from that injury that kept him out of the early part of training camp.
Eberflus says Teven Jenkins, who lined up with first team at right guard today in practice, likely will play more than 6-10 snaps against Seahawks.

The coaching staff keeps saying they will start their five best linemen in the regular season. Jenkins gets a chance to make a case he is one of the five best against Seattle.
