The Chicago Bears could make another trade with the New England Patriots.

Don’t make trades with the New England Patriots? Wrong. Tom Brady isn’t there anymore so that franchise is not the same as it once was. It is still a very nice franchise but it is clear that Tom made everyone, including his coach/GM, better.

They hope that Mac Jones turns into the next good Patriots quarterback which is actually a possibility. He is in a good situation and will be given the proper support that a young quarterback needs. That is why they should help out their defense if the Bears do actually trade Smith.

The first-round pick is not something that New England has been good at using over the last few years. Even when they were winning Super Bowl after Super Bowl, the early stages of the draft were not why. The Bears are no different but we also haven’t seen Poles with a pick like that yet.

James White could be a complimentary veteran running back with David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert in the mix which could be something that helps the future of the offense just based on experience.

The fourth-round pick included here would be up to Poles to get something good out of. The Bears have already made a good trade with New England so far this summer and another wouldn’t be a bad idea.
