The Las Vegas Raiders should trade for Chicago Bears tackle Teven Jenkins

One team that could take a huge jump from last year to this year is the Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr and company snuck into the postseason after a highly-eventful season with plenty of bad news. This offseason, they added All Pro wideout Davante Adams via trade — and Bears fans were perfectly happy to see that happen.

Now, the Raiders’ offensive line remains a work in progress. On one hand, they have an excellent starting tackle in Kolton Miller. But, he’s the best of the bunch and, after him, there’s not a lot to love.

The Raiders made a huge mistake over-drafting Alex Leatherwood, and ultimately they haven’t even established his long-term position — and he might not even be a long-term fit. They drafted Dylan Parham this year, who was a favorite of many Bears fans as well. But, the veterans on this current line may not last long, nor are they top-tier starters.

Jenkins could come in and immediately earn a starting position on this line. It wouldn’t be surprising to see, either. Again, this is not a great unit. Although the Raiders have a phenomenal group of playmakers on offense, their Achilles heel could end up biting them in the end. The offensive line is going to hold them back from their top-end potential this year.
