The Chicago Bears could trade Teven Jenkins to someone who might love him.

As mentioned before, the current Chicago Bears management team has no guaranteed loyalty to Teven Jenkins. He was not drafted by them and is becoming a headache for them in his first season with the team. Now, it sounds like they’d consider moving him.

One of the teams that might like to have him is the Atlanta Falcons. Ryan Pace, the one who drafted him, is an executive with the Atlanta Falcons. If he has any say about it, Jenkins would be a great addition to what the Falcons are trying to do in their rebuild (and he might be right).

In this trade package, the Bears and Falcons swap draft picks. The Bears move down into the fourth round and the Falcons add another second-round pick. The player swap is where things could even out for the Bears.

Atlanta just took Justin Shaffer in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He is going into the season as the backup left guard on Atlanta but the Bears might be able to give him a better chance than that. At a minimum, he would probably show up to practice which is a win for the Bears right there.
