Trade Number 1: The Chicago Bulls send a trio of players and a pick for John Collins

One of the several rumors floating around involves the Bulls attempting to trade guard Coby White along with their no. 18 pick in this week’s draft. Chicago could be looking to move up in the draft or they could also be looking to add a veteran player this way.

If the Bulls included White and their 2022 draft pick in a deal, it might look something like this.

Along with White and that pick, the Hawks would start out by getting wing Troy Brown Jr. However, the Bulls would have to execute a sign-and-trade with Brown because he is technically set to become a free agent.

The Bulls would also send guard Alex Caruso to the Hawks, which would be the toughest part of the deal to swallow. Caruso brings a ton of energy on both ends of the floor, but particularly the defensive end. Chicago certainly loses a defensive edge by including him in this deal, but the finances work out, and that’s why he’s included.

Would this be the best deal for the Bulls? Probably not. So, onward we go to the next trade scenario.
