3 overly ambitious trades for the Chicago Bulls to land Rudy Gobert

Trade Number 3: The Chicago Bulls execute a blockbuster deal
Lastly, this would be a desperation heave by the Bulls. Let’s get this out of the way: it would probably never happen. However, once you get past the craziness, it makes sense.
In this trade, the Bulls would deal Vucevic, Williams and White in exchange for Gobert and veteran guard Jordan Clarkson.
First of all, the Bulls would be getting a valuable second player in this trade. Clarkson is the reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year and offers plenty of experience for the Bulls behind Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine. He’s a guy who can come in and play either guard position, while scoring and facilitating at a high level.
Adding insurance for Ball, like this, would be an enormous win for the Bulls.
Chicago would also give up their no. 18 pick this year while obtaining a future second rounder from Utah, allowing them to still get some type of draft compensation in return.
The Bulls give up a haul, sure, but they also get two extremely valuable players in return — obviously two of the most valuable in their roles in all of the NBA.
