3 overly ambitious trades for the Chicago Bulls to land Rudy Gobert

Trade Number 2: The Chicago Bulls package their top two big men in a trade
If the Jazz are not interested in White, then the conversation could quickly shift to another young player: forward Patrick Williams. The Jazz are said to be interested in Williams in any deal for Gobert, but apparently the Bulls are unwilling to trade him. However, what if they decided to let up on that notion?
Maybe, the Bulls shouldn’t be all that scared to trade Williams. Let’s say the Bulls offered both Vucevic and Williams, straight up, for Gobert. You would have to think the Jazz take that deal, right?
Williams offers massive upside as a guy who can defend multiple positions and also become an above-average scoring option. He is still extremely raw, very young and his ceiling is not even close to being tapped.
At the same time, the Bulls are getting one of the most proven commodities in the league with Gobert. To secure the league’s top defensive big man, pairing him with two prolific scorers like Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, means the Bulls very well could compete for the Eastern Conference title. Giving up Williams might sting, but Gobert’s impact could end up delivering the Bulls a chance at a title.
