Jack Quinn would make a very nice addition to the Chicago Blackhawks system.

Jack Quinn was drafted in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. He went slightly higher than projected at eighth overall. He played his junior hockey with the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL before being drafted by Buffalo.

He spent each of the last two seasons with the Rochester Americans where he dominated the AHL competition. Playing in 45 games for them this year, he had 26 goals and 35 assists for 61 points. That is remarkable production for someone who is only 20 years old.

He managed to get in two Buffalo Sabres games this year as well where he scored one goal and had one assist. He came out of the draft considered to be a gifted goal scorer so it was good to see his playmaking take a step in 2021-22 as well. A big future is ahead for him.

The Hawks would love to add a prospect like that if they are trading Kane. They would also love to add more draft picks. Getting a second and a third from Buffalo this year in addition to Quinn would go a long way for this franchise. It would be something to consider for sure if it was on the table.
