2. The Chicago Bulls need Rudy Gobert’s edge and attitude

People can say what they want to about Gobert and the attitude, or maybe it’s more of an entitlement, but that’s quite frankly something the Bulls actually need. Down the stretch last season, the Bulls were on a downward spiral after the All Star break. They were losing more than they were winning, and hardly snuck into the postseason.

Just prior to the playoffs, it was blatantly obvious that the Bulls needed someone on this team to step up vocally. This is a team that needed a guy like either Zach LaVine or DeMar DeRozan to be their leader on the court, but neither one have that part to their game. It’s not in their personalities.

If you add in a vocal, edgy guy like Gobert, then the Bulls would finally have that type of player on the court. He may not be the scoring leader, but even being the energy and voice from the paint would help this team tremendously. He’s someone who is unafraid to stand up and lead vocally, even if it means ruffling some feathers.

Had the Bulls had anyone who was capable of doing this in the postseason, maybe they wouldn’t have looked as flat against the Bucks.
