The Chicago Bulls could trade Coby White to the Dallas Mavericks

This offseason, the Dallas Mavericks are going to have a tall task as they try to keep guard Jalen Brunson. But, also currently paying Spencer Dinwiddie presents them with a sticky situation. Are they truly going to pay the both of them?

Should Dallas give up on trying to keep Brunson, landing White would be a consolation prize and a guy who could come off the bench for them. Playing alongside a guy like Luka Doncic could help elevate White’s game back to the level he’s accustomed to, especially from beyond the arc. Doncic seems to have helped many of his teammates from that area, trusting them with pass after pass and seeing the confidence grow.

In a deal with the Mavericks, the Bulls would get forward Maxi Kleber in return. The 6-foot-10 big man would instantly improve the Bulls’ depth in their front court, as Kleber could help relieve either Nikola Vucevic or Patrick Williams.

Kleber also offers the Bulls another three-point shooter, although last year was somewhat of a down year for him there. Kleber is a career 36-percent shooter from beyond the arc, and if the Bulls keep Vucevic around, that would give the Bulls a pair of big men with some range.

Chicago also gets the no. 26 overall pick in the draft this year, where they could find yet another depth piece to add.
