3 free agents who could immediately start on the Chicago Bears

Wide receiver Julio Jones would start right now for the Chicago Bears
Last, the Bears could sign wide receiver Julio Jones. The 7-time Pro Bowl and 2-time All Pro selection is 33 years old and has not looked like the old Julio over the past couple of seasons. However, if healthy, Jones is an upgrade for the Bears and would immediately start opposite Darnell Mooney.
As it stands, Mooney is the sure fire starter on the outside, with Byron Pringle likely starting in the slot. But, who else starts on the outside opposite Mooney? Could it be rookie third-round pick Velus Jones Jr.?
Other than (Velus) Jones, the Bears have Dante Pettis, Equanimeous St. Brown, Tajae Sharpe and David Moore as their primary veterans, along with second-year pro Dazz Newsome. None of them scream “starter,” though.
Jones’ big body could still be a huge weapon for a quarterback like Fields, who would love having the security blanket of the 6-foot-3 Jones. On a team like Chicago, Jones wouldn’t have to be the Pro Bowl type. As long as he can help in the development of Fields, then his stint in Chicago would be considered a success.
