The Chicago Bulls could sign forward/center Montrezl Harrell

As a guy who feels like he’s been in the league for a decade, Montrezl Harrell is still just 28 years old after entering the league back in 2016 out of Louisville. He would come to the Bulls as a fine free agent signing who could give either Vucevic or Williams a breather, being able to play multiple positions if need be.

The former second-round pick has earned a spot in the NBA after he relished his role early on, and nothing has changed. Harrell knows he’s best served off the bench as a high-energy big man who brings a nastiness and tenacity to the floor — and this is something the Bulls could desperately use.

Last season, the Bulls brought in Tristan Thompson who looked like someone the team could count on in this realm. However, the excitement around Thompson quickly fizzled. Harrell has been the same guy for nears now, and the Bulls would be lucky to have his energy off the bench.

Harrell isn’t someone who will get you a plethora of buckets, but he’ll do all of the little things. He’s a pest in the paint. He’ll take a hard foul in order to send someone to the line. He’ll also battle for rebounds. If the Bulls wanted a multi-faceted guy who could play two positions, Harrell is their guy.
