The Chicago Bulls could sign forward Paul Millsap

Maybe the cheapest option on this list for the Bulls is longtime veteran Paul Millsap, who most recently played with the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers last year. The 37-year-old very well could end up calling it a career after 16 seasons in the league.

But, he’s expressed a desire to continue playing in recent seasons and, if he receives interest, then surely Millsap will continue playing.

Last year, between both Philadelphia and Brooklyn, Millsap played the least amount of minutes per game he’s ever played — just over 11 per game. His presence was hardly felt. However, on a team like the Bulls, he might just go right back to the 20 minutes per game he played in 2020-2021 with the Denver Nuggets.

That year with Denver, he was more of a role player who did a little bit of everything, averaging 9.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. If he came to Chicago, Millsap would function a lot like Thaddeus Young once did for this team, except maybe a little less. Spelling Patrick Williams, Millsap could give the Bulls a few solid minutes per game, and he would come on the cheap, too.
