Trade Number 2: The Chicago Bulls send three assets in a package for Rudy Gobert

Let’s say the Bulls were dead set on keeping Patrick Williams. If Chicago can still offer an enticing package, Utah should surely listen.

The Bulls could still offer Utah a package revolving around Vucevic, but instead of Williams, include another young player and former first-round pick — point guard Coby White.

In this deal, Utah still gets Vucevic. But also getting a young guard, who may benefit from a fresh start, gives the Jazz another piece off the bench. White really disappointed in this year’s playoffs, resulting in a lot of fans questioning whether or not he still belongs.

The Bulls have Ayo Dosunmu as their solidified backup point guard at this point, and should also be comfortable with him starting in favor of Lonzo Ball, should his knee issues linger.

Dealing White would force the Bulls to find an upgrade for their bench guard depth, which would also be a positive for the team. This team needs a more consistent presence than White, and a guy who can defend at a competent level.

Again, maybe White flourishes with a new opportunity in Utah.
