Point guard Dalen Terry is a dark horse draft candidate for the Chicago Bulls

This summer, the Bulls will be heavily monitoring the status of starting point guard Lonzo Ball. Because there are some who are growing more and more concerned of Ball’s future, the Bulls need to ensure they have adequate depth in their back court.

Speaking of Ball, point guard Dalen Terry is a similarly-built player at 6-foot-7 sporting a lengthy frame. Terry is a player who can fit into most rosters right away, because he is a master of nothing yet good at everything.

Terry has the ability to guard multiple positions, just like Ball. That defensive versatility makes him a highly coveted type of player in this league, but he still finds himself at no. 25 in ESPN’s best available.

Last year, Terry averaged 8.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He’s the type of player who will step in wherever needed in order to contribute, but Terry is especially good in transition. He was one of the nation’s best guards in transition scoring last season.

Chicago has Ayo Dosunmu and (maybe) Coby White, but should anything more serious happen to Ball, the depth will be there.
