4 Chicago Bears players who will not return after 2022 season

Robert Quinn will not return to the Chicago Bears after 2022
Yet another Pace signing finds itself on this list, but Robert Quinn wasn’t necessary a terrible signing. At first, fans were wondering what Pace was thinking. After his first year with the Bears, Quinn looked like a shell of himself.
But, he bounced back in a big way over 2021 and set a franchise record with 18.5 sacks last year. Quinn was one of the best players in Chicago last year — if not the best — and the odds of him sticking around are not high because of the fact that he still presents enormous value via trade.
As we saw the edge rusher market go crazy this offseason, teams seemed to prioritize adding that big name pass rusher in a way we haven’t seen lately. Quinn is the best name still likely to be moved at some point this year, and if a contending team needs a pass rusher, look for Quinn to be moved prior to the trade deadline this upcoming season.
Now, let’s say that the Bears keep him through the 2022 season. The likelihood that he’s here in 2023 is still very slim, considering Chicago can save $10 million by cutting him and will also get much younger. Similarly to the reasoning behind the Bears trading Khalil Mack, it will be Quinn who gets dealt or cut next.
