The Chicago Bulls should pursue these free agents from Golden State

The Chicago Bulls should pursue free agent guard Gary Payton II
The Bulls should seriously look into rearranging their guard depth this offseason. Coby White has not performed up to his billing and was very inconsistent in the playoffs. He came to Chicago as a shooter; someone who could provide an offensive spark off the bench. His offense wasn’t there this year, nor was his defense. Trading him could be tough, but it’s a possibility.
One of the breakout surprises for Golden State this season was the defensive effort of Gary Payton II. He became one of the premier, young perimeter defenders in basketball this season while also contributing to some big-time, momentum-swinging plays.
If the Bulls can somehow deal White, replacing him with a defensive-minded guard like Payton would improve this roster in a big way. He’s also a fairly decent three-point shooter, which is an area the Bulls need to address as well.
The Warriors have a bunch of money committed to their stars going forward, and Payton could get a big enough free agent contract to put Golden State out of the bidding. Depending on what happens with LaVine and Ball, too, guard could be a huge position of need for the Bulls and Payton could bolster their depth.
