The Chicago Bulls could risk it all and trade for Kawhi Leonard

Lastly, the Bulls could swing for the fences and try to pull off a huge blockbuster with the Los Angeles Clippers. For a couple of years now, the Clippers have had championship aspirations with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. However, that hasn’t panned out as planned.

With Leonard missing the entire past season with a torn ACL, the Clippers struggled. They were also without Paul George for a while as well. There is no speculation as to whether the Clippers would trade Leonard or George, but something like this would be worth a shot.

The Bulls would send the Clippers LaVine, Williams and three first-round picks in exchange for Leonard. It would be a big risk for both teams, but on the Clippers’ end they are trying something new while being able to add lots of young talent in the future.

The Bulls, meanwhile, are risking it all because they’re banking on yet another player recovering from a knee injury. If Leonard is fully healthy, then the Bulls automatically become a championship caliber team. If he’s not necessarily right again after this injury, though, then the Bulls might regret attempting a deal like this.

In any event, the Bulls should try to mix it up this offseason and try to get creative in adding talent, while taking advantage of some teams like Atlanta and Utah who truly could be moving some big pieces.
