The Chicago Bulls could try and trade for John Collins

Another team that was amidst some change and several rumors last season is the Atlanta Hawks. Before last year’s trade deadline, apparently the Hawks had everyone available except Trae Young, per Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer.

While the Hawks squeezed into the NBA play-in tournament, they are still likely to undergo some changes this offseason and could move a couple of players. One of those players might end up being forward John Collins.

Atlanta is also one of the top suitors for Zach LaVine, this offseason, and if LaVine doesn’t return to Chicago he could be involved in a sign-and-trade. At least, this way, the Bulls get something back in return for LaVine.

In this deal, the Hawks get the All Star guard in exchange for Collins and a future first-round pick.

Collins is a great, all-around forward who would step in and solidify the Bulls’ four spot while Patrick Williams takes his time developing. Collins is a big upgrade from Williams, who looks like he needs that time to take some additional steps.
