The Chicago Bulls could try and trade for Rudy Gobert

First, the Bulls could attempt to engage in talks with the Utah Jazz. It’s been rumored for a while now that big man Rudy Gobert isn’t exactly fond of Donovan Mitchell anymore. In fact, the most recent rumor this past season was that Gobert is going to ask the Jazz to trade either him or Mitchell, because they cannot co-exist.

If that’s the case, the Bulls would be a perfect trade partner for the Jazz.

In this trade, the Bulls would send starting center Nikola Vucevic to Utah, along with guard Coby White and a first-round pick in exchange for Gobert. From the Jazz’s perspective, they get a big man who can score and score from the outside for a change. Gobert is much different and is more effective near the hoop.

White, meanwhile, gets a fresh start and could have the opportunity to flourish off the Utah bench.

The Bulls, of course, get Gobert who would offer a totally different feel at the five position. They get someone who is one of the best defensive players in all of basketball and a fantastic rebounder. Finally, they have a physical, defensive presence on their team.
