Chicago Bears depth chart predictions: Offensive Line
By Josh De Luca
Teven Jenkins already having some experience playing Left Tackle for the Bears in 2021 points to him as the clear favorite.
Left tackle should be one of the more straight forward decisions the Bears will have to make this offseason. Teven Jenkins is a very exciting prospect that the Bears drafted with the 39th pick in the 2021 draft. Injury concern out of college is what made the first round prospect fall into the Bears arms in the early second round.
Jenkins did have to deal with a back injury most of last season. Because of this, Jenkins only started two games towards the back end of last season. It’s hard to judge a prospect on only two starts coming off a back injury, but Jenkins seemed to hold his own. This left tackle spot is almost a no-brainer because many believe that if healthy, Jenkins could be the Bears franchise left tackle for years to come.
Now, rumors have arose saying that Jenkins has been on a strict diet this offseason and reportedly came to camp healthy and looking much leaner. This is very exciting to hear considering Jenkins has always been a phenomenal athlete, even back during his time at Oklahoma State.
