1. The Chicago Bulls need to sign Zach LaVine

The Chicago Bulls really need to re-sign Zach LaVine to stick around a while.

Zach LaVine needs to be a key piece to this Chicago Bulls team if they want to have more postseason success. Zach is due for a max contract this coming offseason and the social media world has a bunch of different opinions on what they think the Bulls should do with LaVine.

There have also been some rumors that Zach could possibly even turn down a max contract from Chicago because he has aspirations of being a team’s number 1 scoring option. At this point, these are all just rumors.

The Bulls’ leading scorer last season was none other than MVP candidate, DeMar DeRozan. His ability to score at will is much like that of Celtics superstar, Jayson Tatum. But even as great as Tatum is, the Celtics wouldn’t have been nearly as good as they have been without a second elite scoring option in Jaylen Brown.

LaVine fits Browns’ role perfectly. Scoring-wise, both Brown and LaVine can score from all three levels. Both averaged over 23 points a game last season on 54+% effective shooting percentages.

Not only can both these players score but they can also draw a lot of attention off the ball also. This makes it easier for the primary scorer of the team to do what he does and not have to worry about double teams coming as often.

I believe this deal is of the highest importance this offseason for the Bulls. Without Jaylen Brown, the Celtics probably wouldn’t be where they are right now. I think it’s safe to say if the Bulls let LaVine walk this offseason, they will be taking a massive step in the wrong direction.
