Dazz Newsome and David Moore will round out the Chicago Bears receiving corps

This is a bit of a bold prediction, but to round out the Bears’ receiving corps, it will be second-year pro Dazz Newsome and veteran David Moore.

This means both Equanimeous St. Brown and Dante Pettis will not make the roster. In this case, it is mostly because of the versatility brought by Newsome and the deep threat of Moore.

Newsome is a shifty receiver who is very good after the catch. He just wasn’t given the opportunity as a rookie. In college, though, Newsome was an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands. The Bears would be doing themselves a disservice if they let him go after not having given him a real shot.

Moore will be last on the depth chart but his experience as a sneaky deep threat with the Seattle Seahawks will pay off on the Bears. Making some tough, impressive grabs on the opposite ends of throws by Russell Wilson seemed to be an often occurrence whenever they were in prime time.

Moore is a great deep ball tracker and will bring another speedy weapon to this underrated group as a whole.
