Byron Pringle and Tajae Sharpe will be next up for the Chicago Bears

When the Bears signed former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle, he immediately became the number two guy on the depth chart. Of course, that could change due to Velus Jones’ arrival. But, Pringle will be heavily involved as the starting slot.

He brings speed after the catch and shiftiness that the Bears have lacked in that realm. Pringle’s experience with a high-flying offense featuring Patrick Mahomes will help in bringing along some of the younger guys and knowing how to ad-lib with a young, mobile quarterback like Fields.

Even though Tajae Sharpe was recently signed, he will probably stick on the roster. Because of his experience, Sharpe will bring another option from the slot for this offense. He has actually been an effective WR3 or WR4 on most of the teams he’s played for.

Sharpe should have no problem leaping ahead of the other guys we haven’t talked about just yet.
