Week 2 vs Green Bay Packers

It would be nice if the Chicago Bears could upset the Green Bay Packers this year.

It is always amazing when the Green Bay Packers get together with the Chicago Bears. Even when one of the teams is good (mostly Green Bay) and one of the teams is bad (mostly Chicago), these two teams get into it.

It is rare to see anyone from Chicago and Green Bay all friendly with one another during the week when these two play each other. The Bears play the Packers for the first time in 2022 when they head up there for Week Two’s matchup between them.

For some reason, the NFL viewed it as paramount for the entire world to see the Packers destroy the Bears in this game. It will take place as part of Sunday Night Football at 7:20 PM on September 18th.

All we can do as fans is enjoy the Bears when they are on. It is also nice to see them compete against Green Bay, even when they have no chance. This game will be a huge test early for Fields and his offense.

It is also a chance to see how Aaron Rodgers plays against this new look Bears defense. The second game between these two will take place in week 14. Luckily, for now, it is not scheduled to be a primetime game. The Bears will host them in Chicago for that one.

The first meeting is more intriguing because each team may feel like they have a chance as it is so early in the season. It will also be on national television (which is cool even though everyone just gets to watch the Bears lose).

It is also a chance to catch a game a Lambeau Field while it’s still relatively warm. Despite the early season projections for the Bears, it would be nice to just defeat the Packers once.

This intriguing matchup in week two is surrounded by a stretch where the Bears could play well (because of their opponents in weeks 1, 3, and 5) so you just never know what could happen if they become confident.
