The Chicago Bears are going to keep looking for good wide receivers this year.

The Chicago Bears went into the 2022 NFL Draft with two big needs. One of those needs was wide receiver. There was a big run of them in the first round but the Bears didn’t have a selection in that round so they had to wait.

They ended up really waiting as they didn’t take a wide receiver until the third round when they selected Velus Jones Jr. He is a great young receiver that is going to have a chance at making the team right away but they need more help.

Outside of Darnell Mooney, the Bears don’t really have any depth at the position. That is why anyone that is brought into camp will have a chance to make the team from that position. One of those people is Landon Lenoir who comes from Southern Illinois University.

He is an undrafted free agent that will absolutely get the chance to make the team. If he goes into camp and does really well, the team will keep him around. He would really have to make an impact but there isn’t much competition in that WR room that is head over heels better than him.

All of these guys had to be happy to latch onto a team after going undrafted but now the real work begins for them. They really have to grind starting now to make this team. These three guys will have as good of a chance as any first-year player to make this team out of camp as rookies.
