5 free agents from 2022 Playoffs the Chicago Bulls could sign

The Chicago Bulls could sign free agent forward Robert Covington
The Los Angeles Clippers did not make it out of the play-in tournament, but we’re counting them as a postseason team, strictly because the Bulls signing a guy like Robert Covington would be a killer scenario. A lot like Portis and Young, Covington brings some versatility to the forward position.
He is a guy who can guard multiple positions and is a stout defensive player. He’s more of a 3-and-D forward, if you will.
This last season with the Clippers, Covington was given his best defensive rating in nearly seven years. He proved to be a big part of this Los Angeles team during a year where they were without Kawhi Leonard and also missed Paul George for a chunk of time.
He may have only played in 23 games after being traded from the Portland Trailblazers, but Covington made an impact. The Clippers are a team that’s seemingly always bringing in various veterans each year, so Covington very well may not be back. If he signed in Chicago, Covington would be the type of guy the Bulls desperately need.
This last year with L.A., Covington averaged 10.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in just over 22 minutes per game.
