3 free agent wide receivers the Chicago Bears can still sign

The Chicago Bears could sign free agent WR Emmanuel Sanders
At this stage in the offseason, age likely doesn’t matter as much to Ryan Poles when adding veterans to this roster. The strategy, early on, was to add mostly younger players on deals that wouldn’t qualify as an overpay.
Now, the Bears have to fill in their roster. Emmanuel Sanders may be 35 years old, but he is still capable of being a productive player. Sanders also fits the mold of guys who can get open and provide Justin Fields with another receiver who can be very good after the catch.
If Sanders signed in Chicago, he would likely be the number two option next to Darnell Mooney, but as the season wore on he could give way to Velus Jones and Byron Pringle. Still, his veteran presence and savvy route running ability would be excellent for Fields to begin his second year. He would also be great for the younger receivers to lean on.
Last year, in 14 games with Buffalo, Sanders caught 42 passes for 626 yards and four touchdowns. He’s far from finished, and when he’s healthy, he is still a threat.
