The Chicago Bears could really use some help in their secondary going into 2022.

The Chicago Bears have options when it comes to their second-round picks. They could go with pressing needs like wide receiver offensive lineman or they could opt to go with the best or close to the best player available. There might be one option that fits both of those descriptions.

Firmly in third place of Chicago Bears’ needs right now is help in the secondary. Andrew Booth Jr, a cornerback, out of Clemson would be a great fit on this team via the draft. He plays a position where the Bears could use an upgrade and he is one of the best players available.

He is probably a top-five corner in the entire draft and the Bears could land him in the second round. That would actually be very nice for them as they try to get the defense back on track over the next few years.

When the Bears come up to make their picks, they might completely surprise us all and take none of these guys or anyone close to them in skill or position. We have never seen Ryan Poles run an NFL franchise in full command so we will learn about him as well. If they landed one of these guys in the second round, however, they would certainly be happy about it.
