The Chicago Bears could certainly use some help on the offensive line right now.

Of course, everyone knows that wide receiver is a big need for the Chicago Bears right now. That is also a more attractive position to the general public because those guys highlight the most exciting plays in football. Quarterbacks need people to throw to.

They also need people to protect them and the Bears have done an abysmal job of protecting the quarterback in recent years. Justin Fields needs help in that department otherwise he is going to be running for his life the entire season once again.

Who better to help protect him than someone who has a lot in common with Fields. Nicholas Petit-Frere is from Ohio State University which is exactly where Fields is from. You know these two would just absolutely love to play with one another on the NFL stage after each having so much success as Buckeyes.

Nicholas Petit-Frere is still available after not being selected in the first round by any of the teams making selections. He will almost certainly be taken in the second round which is where the Bears could consider pouncing on that selection.

There are certainly more pros to a move like (with either second-round pick) this than cons. If not him, another offensive lineman would be really nice. There are some really good options left besides Petit-Frere like Abraham Lucas, Bernhard Raimann, and Daniel Faalele.
