Top 2022 NFL Draft options for the Chicago Bears in Round 2

1. WR Treylon Burks

The absolute best-case scenario for the Bears in Round 2 is if Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks fell to them at number 39 overall. For the longest time, Burks was a first-round guy and there were zero doubts.

Now, he’s falling due to running a slower 40 and having questions about his route running prowess.

The thing with Burks is, he is an absolute beast when you turn on the film. He is physically imposing, with fast enough play speed to out-run the defense in the open field. Burks’ catch radius is out of this world, too, giving Fields a guy he can trust when throwing it up in desperation.

Burks is always a big play waiting to happen. And, he rarely has issues with drops. His hands might be the biggest in this class, as he wears a size 4XL gloves — which is the same size as WWE star and former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar.

This is a bona fide star in the making who is falling out of the first round for silly reasons. Go turn on the tape, and you will see a clear-cut, first-round talent. If Burks is there, the Bears stole the draft.
