The Bears pick up another third-round pick and gain a fourth-round pick in this trade.

Poles goes ahead and does business with his former employer. Pick 39 is one of the best picks to have in the second round. There are plenty of players with first-round grades that for some reason did not get picked on day one still available. The Chicago Bears jumped up last to pick 39 to nab Teven Jenkins.

This draft is deep so it might be hard for Poles to find a suitor willing to move up.

The Kansas Chiefs were a few plays away from making their third-straight Super Bowl. They could be tempted to move up and nab one of the dynamic wide receivers available in this draft. There might be another difference-maker available they see worth moving up.

The Bears move back to pick 50 in the second round but also pick up another top-100 pick and also gain back a fourth-round pick.

The Chicago Bears nab another fourth-round and fifth-round pick by moving back at pick 48.

The Chicago Bears were back on the clock for pick 48. Once again, another contender came calling. This time the Bears did business with the New England Patriots. This haul gives the Chicago Bears more picks in the “team-building” rounds. The fourth and fifth rounds are still areas where starters can be found. The Bears may not end up with Hall of Famers in those rounds but you can walk away with some All-Pros or at minimum solid starters.

Right now, the Bears just need more spins at the draft wheel to get players that can turn into starters in the NFL. The roster is bereft of talent, especially at premium positions such as offensive line and cornerback. Weapons are still going to be needed for Fields to succeed so trading back a few spots to get some more picks can come in handy.
