The Chicago Bears may consider a cornerback in the 2022 NFL Draft’s 2nd round.

The Chicago Bears defense could use all sorts of help. The 2022 place is going to be a place where they can try to acquire some of that help. With either of their second-round picks, they could try to help fix what was once the best defense in the NFL.

The secondary isn’t what it was a few years ago and it has become one of the team’s biggest weaknesses. They might want to consider drafting Cam Taylor-Britt out of the University of Nebraska to help them with that. He is a cornerback.

He is definitely someone that could come into training camp with a chance to win a starting job. It isn’t like the Bears are loaded with stars all over the place in the secondary so he would have a really fair chance. It would certainly become a story in camp if he played really well.

The nice thing about this young man is that he is versatile. He is listed as a cornerback but has the ability to play safety if needed. The Bears could use the depth at these positions going into 2022. Taylor-Britt is also someone that could serve as a nice backup before developing into a full-time starter over the years. It could end up being a really nice pick if they consider him.
