5 players the Chicago Bears should consider trading back for

The Chicago Bears could target Martin Emerson by trading back
Lastly, the Bears could be eyeing help at cornerback with a trade back. If they wanted to find secondary help in the late third or early fourth round, Mississippi State cornerback Martin Emerson would be an ideal target.
As it stands, the Bears only have one legitimate starting cornerback in Jaylon Johnson. Taking a shot on starting Thomas Graham outside might not be the right move, so the Bears have to find additional bodies here.
Emerson possesses great size for the cornerback position as he is 6-foot-2 and weighs just over 200 pounds. Emerson is a smart player and takes accurate angles. He doesn’t have elite speed, but he is much faster on the field than his 4.53 time at the Combine would suggest. Emerson closes well and can stick with receivers despite his average speed.
His physicality is there as he’s able to deliver blows right off the line of scrimmage. Emerson is best suited in zone coverage which works well for the Bears’ new scheme. He doesn’t have great ball production coming out of college, with just one career pick, but his coverage skills are certainly there.
The Bears might just find a sneaky starter if they found Emerson in the fourth round.
