The Chicago Bears could target Rasheed Walker by trading back

The first player Chicago could target by trading back is Penn State offensive tackle Rasheed Walker. For the past three seasons, Walker has been the Nittany Lions’ starting left tackle, which might end up being a need for the Bears.

Teven Jenkins has gotten some looks at right tackle throughout minicamp, and many believe he will stay there. That means the Bears will need someone to protect Justin Fields’ blind side.

Coming in with tons of starting experience, Walker has the potential as a third or fourth-round pick to step into the same role with the Bears. Walker is 6-foot-6 and 312 pounds, presenting excellent overall size as a tackle.

One of Walker’s best traits is his athleticism. Though he is a taller guy, Walker moves really well laterally and gets out in front of faster pass rushers relatively easily. Along with his athleticism, Walker has a great strength to his anchor and uses his hands well. His hand placement and hand strength are both top notch.

If the Bears acquire another late-third rounder or fourth-round pick, and Walker is there, he’d be a phenomenal value.
