The Chicago Bears might need to give up players for Deebo Samuel in a trade.

The Chicago Bears, if they wanted to land someone like Deebo Samuel, might need to give up more than just draft picks in order to land him. Of course, there might still need to be some picks so sending a 2022 second and a 2022 sixth might be necessary for a trade like this.

San Francisco is an elite team right now that believes that they can win the Super Bowl if they are healthy. We don’t know which one of their two quarterbacks will play more in 2022 but that is a question that will be answered soon enough.

Whoever it is could use some more weapons, especially if Deebo Samuel is being shipped out of town. That is why acquiring David Montgomery and Cole Kmet could be a really nice idea for them as it would add them two pretty good weapons.

In the case of Montgomery, they would be getting a really good running back that is extremely effective when he is actually used. With the schemes that Kyle Shanahan comes up with, he would fit in perfectly.

For Cole Kmet, he could line up in a two tight end set with George Kittle who is one of the two best tight ends in the National Football League. The Bears didn’t use Kmet right under Matt Nagy but we know that Shanahan would find a really good way to use him.

We don’t know for sure if San Francisco will actually go through with trading Samuel but it certainly can’t be ruled out now that this information about his request is out there. The Bears probably won’t trade for him but it is certainly fun to think about what it might cost.
