The Chicago Bears might have to give up a first-round pick to land Deebo Samuel.

Deebo Samuel is an outstanding wide receiver. The Chicago Bears need someone that can come in and be their number one for a long time. Justin Fields needs all of the weapons that he can get in order to really get the most out of the talents that we know that he has.

That is why there is a chance that giving up a first-round pick could be smart for the Bears in this situation. Deebo Samuel is probably better than any wide receiver that the Bears would take with the 2023 first-round pick given up here so you’d have to consider it.

Throwing in a seventh-round pick to get it done might be something that the 49ers need to get the deal done as they probably want a little more than one asset for someone as good as Deebo Samuel. Honestly, it makes sense.

The fact that the news about him requesting a trade publically also puts the 49ers in a tough spot. They are at a disadvantage now in trade negotiations because other teams know that they will be desperate to trade him soon anyway. That could lead to them getting less for him which is tough for them but could be great for a team like the Bears.
