On Easter Sunday, the Chicago Bulls played a much more competitive game against the Milwaukee Bucks than people would have expected. The Bucks won the game and took a 1-0 series lead in the first-round matchup but it was clear that the Bulls were going to fight.

In game two of the series, they looked like a completely different team that had no interest in leaving Milwaukee down 0-2. They didn’t do that as they stole home-court advantage from the Bucks with a 114-110 victory. It was a marvelous game.

Now that the Bulls have the series tied, people might start to actually somewhat believe in them. With a player like Giannis Antetokounpo in the lineup, the Bucks are still the favorite to win the series but the Bulls are going to make it interesting. They are not out of this at all, especially since they are coming home to the United Center.

The stars led the way for the Bulls in this one. None were as impactful as DeMar DeRozan. He was abysmal in the first game of the series in terms of his shooting but nobody expected that to continue in this one. He had a remarkable 41 points along with seven rebounds and four assists. If he continues to play like that, the Bulls have a chance.

Alex Caruso was magnificent on the defensive side of things in this game. He is the perfect player to have on your roster once the playoffs roll around as he helps teams contain the opposition’s best. He also added nine points, 10 assists, and two rebounds.

You would expect Zach LaVine to be the team’s second-leading scorer in any random game but his 20-point output was only good for third on the team. Nikola Vucevic had an extremely nice bounceback game as he scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds. When he is hitting his shots like he was in this one, the team is hard to contain.

The Chicago Bulls put together a super win over the champs on Wednesday.

The Bulls did everything that they needed to do to pull away from the Bucks and then avoid letting them tie it and win it in the end. Both of these teams have shown a lot of fight in the first two games which should excite everyone about what’s to come.

Milwaukee is the defending world champions while the Bulls are a team trying to grow into something special like that. This series is already outstanding and promises to continue getting better as the games move along.
