Round 6 – Pick 186 – Josh Jobe – CB

Taking a CB at any point of the 2022 NFL Draft feels smart for the Chicago Bears.

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Program is the best in the nation year after year. They lost to the University of Georgia in the College Football National Championship this year but they are an elite program these days as well. In the case of Alabama, they have been pumping out NFL Stars for years.

The Chicago Bears should consider a Crimson Tide alumni if Josh Jobe is available to them with pick 186 in the sixth round. He is someone that could come in and try to earn a spot as a cornerback on this roster. He might take a while to be NFL ready but he has the ceiling to do so.

One of the biggest strengths that Jobe has is the fact that he has had pretty good production against the amazing competition he faced on the world’s biggest college stages. The scheme that is run at Alabama is NFL style which could help him as well.

He isn’t a perfect prospect or even close to it but for a sixth-round selection, he might be worth the risk. The Chicago Bears need help with that area of the defense so that might make him a little more valuable as well.

There is no pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft for the Chicago Bears as of right now so this sixth-rounder is slated to be their last of the weekend. It is going to be so fun to see if they are able to improve their team for the future with the players that they select here.
