Trade Number 2: A.J. Brown gets dealt to the Chicago Bears

Unlike Samuel, A.J. Brown has three years of pretty good production. His first two seasons saw him go over the 1,000-yard mark, and last year he actually fell short as he ended with 869 receiving yards.

But, last year was a rough year for the Titans offense at times, as they were without a 100-percent-healthy Julio Jones for maybe the entire season and lost Derrick Henry for quite a while. Brown’s value comes as a big body with excellent hands and good enough speed to break away after the catch. If we’re looking at a starting point for a trade involving Brown, it could look like this.

In this trade, the Bears luckily only give up a fifth rounder this year because they do not own a selection in the first or fourth rounds. But, they will trade a first and fourth rounder next year to Tennessee.

Again, figuring out how to make up future capital is something Poles can address when the time comes. For now, the Bears will have Brown and still hold their picks in the second round. That’s a big win for this year, and specifically for the development of Justin Fields.
