5 players Chicago Bears could reach for in Round 2 of 2022 NFL Draft

The Chicago Bears could reach for offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer in Round 2
Lastly, we go back to the offensive line, where the Bears definitely need a starter on the inside. Whether or not Borom is the answer at tackle, the Bears still need someone to start at guard.
At the moment, Georgia’s Jamaree Salyer is mostly being mocked in the third round. However, this is a player the Bears could view as a must-have guy who might not make it to 71.
As a championship-winning player, Salyer has started for one of the most dominant teams in college football. Salyer is 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds, possessing legitimate NFL size up front. One of the best aspects of his game is the fact that he’s played all five positions on the line, giving the Bears some flexibility in a pinch.
Salyer is a huge body with powerful hands. He packs a punch and is violent with his hands, which is something you always look for with a guard. That is going to help big time in the run game.
The biggest reason Salyer would fall to the third round is due to his lesser athletic ability. He needs to prove he can be a bit more flexible with his movement overall, but above anything, his power and hand technique make him worth a selection.
