The Chicago Bears could trade Eddie Jackson to the New York Giants

Lastly, and absolutely the greatest overall value of a return, this trade sees the Bears find a partner in the New York Giants. For those wondering, this value and return was based off of Pro Football Focus’ mock draft simulator.

In this deal, the Bears get a pair of fifth-round picks from the Giants in exchange for Jackson. The selections come at no. 147 and no. 173. If Jackson could fetch the Bears two mid-round picks, then Poles has to make this happen.

At no. 147, the Bears might find some strong value in a few guys who might slip in the draft. Some of those names could include cornerbacks Tariq Castro-Fields out of Penn State and Alabama’s Josh Jobe. Other names they could consider there are Wisconsin linebacker Jack Sanborn, South Dakota State running back Pierre Strong or Tulsa wide receiver Josh Johnson.

Later on, with their selection at no. 173, the Bears could target guys like guard Justin Shaffer out of Georgia, safety Leon O’Neal Jr. out of Texas A&M, tight end Derrick Deese Jr. out of San Jose State or Oklahoma edge rusher Isaiah Thomas.
