Chicago Bears trade Nick Foles in one of these 3 deals

The Chicago Bears could trade Nick Foles to the Cincinnati Bengals
The number one priority for the reigning AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals has been to protect franchise quarterback Joe Burrow. So far, Cincinnati has bolstered their offensive line in a way that fans are surely thrilled about, signing Alex Cappa, Ted Karras and La’el Collins this offseason. It’s been a total makeover up front, and Burrow should be smiling.
However, an underrated part of this equation is the backup quarterback position. Currently, the Bengals have Brandon Allen and Jake Browning locked in as their reserve quarterbacks. If the Bengals were to get themselves into title contention once again in 2022 and Burrow were to — God forbid — go down with an injury, there’s little hope in those guys to keep the team afloat.
In this second deal, the Bengals give up a sixth-round pick — and it’s not conditional. Foles becomes their clear-cut insurance plan for Burrow, and he’s a good one that comes with Super Bowl experience.
Burrow’s injury history should not be ignored in Cincinnati. Of course, protecting him is the firsts key. However, ensuring they have a good enough backup plan for an injury situation should be the next priority. A sixth-round pick for Foles should be an easy decision for the Bengals, here.
