The Chicago Bears might need to sweeten the pot in order to land Tyreek Hill.

The Chicago Bears, as mentioned before, could really use some help on the offense. Under Matt Nagy, they couldn’t move the football with regularity at all. A lot of it was bad play-calling but the roster certainly wasn’t good enough. As a result, it sounds like the Bears are doing what they can to turn that around.

The new coaching staff knows how important that is to winning football games. Ryan Poles comes from Kansas City where Hill is currently at so he knows how good this player is and how much he can impact a roster. If he wanted to add a game-breaker to the offense, this is a good way to do so.

Hill is going to be expensive. We already know that it is going to require two first-round picks. They don’t have their 2022 selection anymore so it would have to be in 2023 and 2024 but that shouldn’t matter much to the Chiefs. What should matter is that there is a sweetener in the trade.

The Chicago Bears are competing with other teams to land Hill’s services. That means that they might have to pay more for him if other teams also want him. If that is true, adding someone like Robert Quinn could really help their defense. He was brilliant in 2021 and can be just as good in 2022. This is something for both sides to think about.
