The Chicago Bears are a lousy football team right now. They have sold off a lot of parts or let them go for nothing in an attempt to rebuild the team quickly. Ryan Poles clearly has a plan for the future but it is going to require a little bit of pain in the present.

2022 might be a rough year for the squad as it is hard to say they are better than any of the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, or Minnesota Vikings. Last place seems like destiny for them this year but there are more important things at hand right now.

Developing the quarterback has to be at the top of the list right now. Justin Fields is the most important person in the entire Chicago Bears organization as of right now. If he becomes the star quarterback that we think he can become, the Bears could be a contender in short order.

With the departure of Allen Robinson, the Bears don’t really have a wide receiver core to speak highly of. Darnell Mooney is a really nice player but they need a lot more than that.
