5 unsigned, second wave free agents the Chicago Bears could pursue

The Chicago Bears could sign free agent wide receiver Will Fuller
Lastly, the Bears could take a huge gamble on signing veteran wide receiver Will Fuller. Surely, there is a lot of talk that Fuller could go join his former quarterback Deshaun Watson, in Cleveland. But, Fuller remains unsigned and the Browns very well may bring back Jarvis Landry, so nobody knows exactly what will happen just yet.
Fuller is an electric player when he’s on the field, as maybe the league’s best deep threat for a few years now. But, health has been the major question. Fuller missed almost all of last season, again, with a significant injury.
He will likely have to continue signing prove-it deals until he plays an entire season — or close to it. Fuller is a phenomenal talent, and if he stayed healthy for a whole year, he’d benefit greatly from a quarterback like Fields, who loves to throw the deep ball.
Fuller is still only 27 years old and will be 28 in April. If the Bears wanted to punt on drafting multiple receivers this year, while drafting just one in the 2022 draft, they could bring in another veteran like Fuller to join Darnell Mooney and Byron Pringle.
